I love just how much you can tell about a society by something as seemingly simple as what their money looks like Comment from : @Fullmetalnyuu0 |

I might be completely wrong but it was the first thing that came to my mind when seeing the dragonbrCouldn't this dragon be a reference to the dragon of the Nibelungenlied that got slain by Siegfried Comment from : @zwergblaubarsch8350 |

Hi! I've just discovered your channel through your react video on Milo's Baghdad battery episode! I love that you've opened the floor for discourse, which is really the best way of pushing science forward Just wanted to make a quick comment that the Caduceus (with 2 snakes, and given to Hermes) is actually a symbol of commerce, and the rod of Asclepius (with 1 snake, give to Asclepius) is the symbol of medicine Really only people working around medicine know this small distinction, and in modern times lots of pharmacies / medically related stuff use the Caduceus It's funny to think maybe because the world of medicine and commerce have intertwined and so to an extent the Caduceus makes sense too! brbrBut this is also only something I gleaned off internet and am not an expert in ancient anything maybe there is something known to historians and archaeologists not yet widely known by the general public :?
