If you use euro or sterling they always round it up further than if you use the Turkish Lira Thats why they prefer the other currencies as they get a better exchange rate!! ✌️

I've noticed on most Turkish restaurant bills the total cost is often shown in three currencies TL , Euros, and Sterling, now if you do your own conversion calculation paying the said bill in TL is always cheaper ie taking the sterling charge and convert to TL it comes to less, this is not an advert but I always pay using the Revolut card which automatically converts the payment to the local currency the rate at the moment is over 44 TL to the pound
