bIt's called GREED Stop buying them, the price will fall Keep overpaying, the price will go up If you really want to see what's going on at the old Coin Shop Buy a tube of eagles, sit on them for a month, sell them back to the same shop, see what they offer you All the sudden those "HTF Eagles are falling out of the sky & the "premium" is a figment of your imagination Coin Dealers are some of the most dishonest thieves on the planet/b Comment from : Fireworxs2012 |

The high premium is because the paper and physical silver prices have unofficially decoupled Comment from : Manuel Gaetan |
"Market Price" does not equal spot "World Average Price" does not equal spotbrbrThe verbiage is organic on purpose Also, the real research needs to revert to the stockpile that was mentioned Look at how that silver, and gold, is delivered to the authorized 3rd party mints to be converted into planchets The transportation both ways, plus what the mints charge, add to the net cost before arriving at the Mints brbrI am pretty sure the US reserves have a purchasing agreement That leads into why the reserves have shrunk I am sure the average costs of the reserves are well under spot, let alone market Comment from : Brian C |
Silver American Esgles are the most popular US coins are the most trustedbrSilver Canadian Maple Leaf is a little bit prettier Sorry to hear what you said about Silver Amrrican Esgles Comment from : Elizabeth Murray |

I just heard from my LCS dealer the reason the US Mint is having trouble getting silver He said that under Federal Law the mint cannot buy silver for over the spot price In the past they have bought it for under spot because of the large quantities of purchase But now everyone is buying it for what they can get it for I haven't had time to research this, but it would take a change in Federal Law for the mint to buy over spot Comment from : Peahead |
I love your channel! I have learned so much from you brother Much appreciated! Comment from : iSid Fynch |

The paper shorts are under the value of the physical so The conspiracy that makes sense in all of the issues of spot price value versus physical value is if they drove the price of the Of the paper it would equalize the value that physical silver goes for I know there’s more to that than that but that’s why were in this issue I believe the paper devaluing silver from the actual cost of physical bullion Comment from : CJ |
just went to my LCS and paid 32 for one eagle, I think I did ok considering spot went up to 20 bucks Comment from : Luis Martinez |

The spot must rise Comex is the culprit Comment from : chamberlin |
What if you bought a bunch of ASEs before the high premiums? Would you sell them to buy more kow premium silver? Comment from : Wasatch Wizard |
Also, until somebody can prove otherwise, I feel the retailer is marking up premiums I don't know how the wholesaler can do it, since production is limited and they are likely to sell out in every situation That is their job The retailers likely mark up to the point of still having a turnover and not stagnating the sales Comment from : Donavon Robbins |
Old news The mint has to but spot They just can't figure out how much to purchase when the write the contract So when they under estimate the volume, there is no incentive for the bullion dealers to sell below market rates, after the initial contract has been filled Comment from : Donavon Robbins |
I’ve said this in your other videos that you’ve posted disparaging the worthiness of silver eagles: The fact that ASE’s hold their value and maintain a high premium is exactly the reason why you should be buying them You seem to be very confused about this and it makes me laugh as you continue to stack near worthless silver bars as if having 1 ton of bullion silver is somehow magically better than having half a ton of minted silver that commands the same price You should always invest in the instrument that holds its value, no matter what! Bullion silver is essentially worthless outside of a silver dealership or maybe a jeweler Minted Eagles are valuable in the eyes of everybody! Do you understand? Sorry for the rant but you need to wake up and realize that you’re encouraging your viewers to invest in high volatility bullion and to stay away from the more stable ASE With the insane paper:physical ratio leveraging silver into an almost permanent downtrend, stacking non-collectible forms of bullion is tantamount to pure speculation/gambling Comment from : Michael |
I'll buy eagles (gold) haha Comment from : Christian Andrews |
Ha! Remember silver and gold is money and governments say and do different things Metals can, do, and will NOT care where it come from or where it's going Comment from : Jason King |
No silver eagles for me I think premiums on a lot of coins are inflated I don’t have a local coin dealer so I have to rely on dealers Hero not to bad, you catch some on SD, I did sign up for military discount on JM bullion, Provident have not bought yet Comment from : Irreverent Warrior |
Scarcity creates Value! I’m buying eagles Gonna be valuable like Morgan’s Comment from : dejaydstone1 |

USA eagle ,s 50 dollers here in Scotland 2015 eagles for some reason 75 dollers each ,that's with there premium s and tax at 20 ,some one making serious money 🤑 but no tax on gold here ,👍 Comment from : Shaun Corless |
I hate to say, but could it also be the authorized purchasers of the bullion coins from the mint aren't ordering as many from the mint in order to maximize the profit that can be had when supply is low? I'd assume that the mint is going to produce the minted bullion coins based upon the orders they receive from their authorized purchasers Either way, eventually the demand will decrease and the premiums will also come down on the ASEs Now isn't the time to be buying ASEs As you said, much better deals to be had with cast bars Comment from : NavyVet |
What about Maples? The premium is around $8!! Comment from : Frank The Tank |
So it says sell to the public That seems to indicate that selling to the public should be direct and not only selling to Authorized Dealers Authorized Dealers are not the public They are special wholesellers Someone should take the mint to court over this Comment from : Tyler Wright |
I’m stacking RCM 10oz bars and buffaloes Comment from : John |
Confusing for sure My coin shop, I think, is selling the silver eagles and all silver at the board price; ie, $19+ at the the time of this writing plus a $9 premium per 1 oz coin So, $28+ at present Comment from : Brooks Wilson |
