You are giving wrong information Here in an cash machine there is something call international fee and will charge you So withdrawing from cash machine is no no Two- Travelex is most rubbish place to exchange your money There are shops such as Thomas exchange global/ Ace Fx/ CEC Thomas exchange uk/ have the best rates far batter than using your bank card Just search for them choose the closed location on each companies go to them 3- your saying don’t change money at airport kiosk I agree but 95 of foreign exchange retail shops are at uk airport are Travelex or money crop So why are u misguiding people4- you mention that Travelex MasterCard or prepaid card, people please don’t use them cards first of all those card not accepted by most shop and second when you withdraw cash (GBP) there is bigger fee for using them cards at shop

Just link your rewards credit card to your Google and Apple Pay on your phone or just straight up use a chipped credit card Do you really even need cash in such a Contactless place? I mean maybe a freak pub that only takes cash or some black taxis but now there is Uber so who needs a black taxi

I'm headed to the UK this June I just checked the exchange rate dollar to pound and its currently $129 to 1 pound sterling which is what I can get at my bank I went to the travelx card you mentioned The exchange rate was $141 to 1 pound on the same day, not good
