I messed around with Boolean algebra in high school because a good teacher I had encouraged me I gained a pretty strong understand of the math Later in college, I started learning Java, so I gained a small understanding of how programs work at a high level However, I never quite understood how math and register values could be used to make graphics This video gave me a much better idea than anything I've looked up previously It also really helped me understand the scale of modern processors and their computations That understand was what I was missing I knew how you could use logic gates to make a digital clock output the time with a liquid crystal display, but I could never make the intuitive connection to how just doing math could make a sprite or window on a screen

Note around 21 minutes, when u were talking about RAM, u were talking about DRAM, which uses capacitors and MOSFETs to store data, SRAM uses logic gates to store data
