One of the items sold on ebay regularly is peyote, there are hundreds of them, they just don't call it by name There are lots of illegal and banned or restricted species, you just have to recognize it and know Ebay just don't have a botanist on staff

Funny enough between ebay and Amazon I can find all of those items for salebrbrI give ebay alot of heat but amazon is just as bad, the exact same fake items sold on ebay are sold on amazon, if you report it to amazon they just ignore youbrbrI'm assuming it's mostly directly from China on amazon( the source of fake items) atleast the fakes on ebay are mostly sold by normal tiny sellers

I tried to sell mercury on eBay and was stopped, even though other people had and told me how to ship it I also listed an oxygen concentrator and was dinged because I didn't have a medical device license I have bought a lock pick set on eBay; several were listed at the time

A lot of these are because the post office does not allow for shipping on flammable or explosive items - perfume, lithium batteries, matches, etc Kind of a no brainer

Instead of being banned on eBay, why don’t eBay not let you list those items and make it easy for everyone I think eBay can prevent all the drama by just making some adjustments Just like make great members from the beginning vs making everyone fall into those pot falls, instead of warning the members and being more positive brbrI’ve been a member for 12 years now and what I find is that eBay is a mess and can’t keep up with the problems they help to create eBay SUCKS!

Hey Professor, What's the deal with German Militaria from WW2? I have had several listings shot down when I was trying to sell some medals and badges They said it was "Hate Speech" material because of the swastika I don't condone any Nazi ideology, I look at it having historical value But yet I see tons of listings that have swastikas promenantly displayed Coins, stamps, flags, uniforms, etc Even model tanks! Also same goes for Confederate memorabilia, Things with the Rebel flag are considered "Hate Propaganda" But again I see bumper stickers, flags, t-shirts posters, and all kinds of stuff displaying the rebel flag I don't get it? Why is it some people can and some people can't?

With regards to guns, it's not just receivers that are banned but rather any part of certain types of guns For example, I once tried to sell the fabric shoulder sling for an SKS rifle (semi-automatic military gun) and they pulled the auction You also have to be aware of foreign laws if you ship internationally A guy in Australia contacted me to ask if I ship there The item he wanted to buy was a WWI era British officer's sword which had a straight blade Alas it's illegal to ship a straight-bladed sword to Australia for some reason, so I had to tell him not to bid
