Shame that ImvestEngine doesn't offer an Emerging Markets excliding China ETF I have my ISA with them this tax year and would prefer my EM holdings to exclude China, but don't think it is possible unfortunately

I have long wondered whether India is actually expensive compared to other EMs it’s avg PE is 20 so not very expensivebrbrIf you think in terms of growth could it also be that the markets assume a higher growth and earnings potential therefore it is priced as such? After the Russian invasion I want less to do with emerging markets🤣I reduced my exposure, its getting too risky with the biggest players: China is geopolitically risky, Russia is already out, India is becoming a bigger question by the year with their inner tensions and neighbours Also, all those EM funds are now exRussia🤣And people want exChina too now, thats a lot of "ex"'s

Interesting take!brI’m interested in understanding how the forward PEs are calculated for whole countries (a video on that perhaps?) how do you factor in the high interest rates in EMs, especially India? I would bet that the stock market there has greater upside when the interest rates are cut than in say the UK with a rate of 525🤔

Mexico is the biggest silver producing country as well, when precious metals become more important in monetary systems again that could boost the economy I think i would rather buy an index for mexico than a private mine that could be nationalized 🤷‍♂️
