My understanding are that residents and citizens can only purchase silver at the banks maybe I'm wrong Makes me wonder if that's why you were denied when you showed up Also, explains why at the end she said she could not enter your passport number I'm quite certain you need a National ID or CURP ID Full disclosure, my parents are from South America, but when I speak spanish I still sound a bit like a gringo lol
