I appreciate the in depth process you explained of your journey and what worked for you, however I think the limited editions and the FOMO you built your sales around will come back negatively which is why you hadn’t seen many sales after your grand opening initially Building a following is about having a good relationship long term while these types of sales methods only makes the buyers feel worn out and unmotivated if they miss a product This is a very controversial method in the video game industry at the moment so I would not recommend your method for beginners since it could easily ruin your reputation even before you start Anyhow, still an interesting video Comment from : @admiralkun8996 |

I’ve thought about selling prints in person on the street The online world is so over saturated, I figured people are more likely to buy something tangible that they can see in person Set up a table in an area with high foot traffic in the city, I could imagine you’re likely to get a few sales Do you have any advice or knowledge in this regard? Obviously you are limited to only selling locally in person and not worldwide online, I know it has drawbacks, but it could be a fun start Comment from : @nerad1994 |

Years ago, I bought a book (Two Hearted Oak) by photographer Roma Loranc who did very good B&W work with Efke film Part of his strategy would be periodic announcements that he was 'retiring' particular negative sets and so prints would not be available after such date This allowed him to devote his limited time to start new material and provide fans with fresh work, as he put it Although it seems plausible, you will note the sense of urgency he quietly suggested with the 'hurry, sale ends today' retirement theme Sales pressure with kindness, and baited with future mystery Comment from : @stevenjohnson4827 |

Im a professional photographer, but I dont have many social media followers as I don't use it that muchbrI've had people ask me about prints, but never got into itbrbrI want to sell prints from my website, but Im wondering Should I find a local print shop to me and when someone buys a print from my store, I contact the store and have them print it and mail it? I don't want cheap prints, like the print on demand stuff as I don't trust their stuffbrbrUnless I find a high quality print on demand shop But, I don't know how Id be able to do that from my WP site Comment from : @michaelfrymus |

I dont know you but I LOVE YOU!! I share my pics on IG (currently at 735 followers) and Ive actually sold a photo or two to someone who saw a pic they love on my IG Printed it and framed it myself Ive actually been wanting to somehow start selling online since occasionally someone will message me with interest to buy a pictureive just been so stumped on HOW!? Do I sell digital versions of my shots for a cheaper price or or actual physical prints!? If i do prints, what if someone is in another state!? Do I charge more for a physical print as opposed to a digital hi res file!? GAAAAAAHHHbrbrYour video was a huuuge help to point me in the right direction! Now i just have to look into Print on Demand and how that worksbrbrBut thank you for this!!brbrAlso, this video made me realize why I think I haven't been getting as many "Likes" like i used to a couple of years ago Pre-2021, getting a minimum of 20 Likes on a picture i considered that "Good for me!" Happened consistently Nothing has changed in my routine or photography but nowadays i get no more than like 3 or 4 likes! I never considered that it could be due to IG's change to being more like Tik Tok and that has somehow cost my pictures exposure Comment from : @hersh23 |
