How do you feel about the RedBook values? If you can buy silver sets for 50 of the published value can you make a profit selling to a coin shop? Is it best to just go by the melt price? I'm an hour away from any coin shops and haven't tried to sell any sets yet Any advice would be appreciated

No, I'm passing them up at $105brI just recently got back into buying some items from the US Mint, after a gap of about 8 years I don't remember what I paid for silver proof sets back in 2013-2014, but it seems like it was about a third the current price And that was only 8-years ago

I collect and crack out silver proof sets, but from what I see, waiting a year pays off as prices do seem to come down a bit Proof sets now have 999 fine silver according to the US Mint website, so the 2021's being the first year could be more collectible especially if they run under 500k sets, but I'm still waiting a year or two to pick one up Good video, new sub!!

No, way to expensive The silver set should not be more that $55 max shipped even less depending on the cost to make them which should be maybe $40 max You are better waiting and hunting on the secondary market eventually you will find a reasonable price

Crazy amount of money for the high silver premiums If everyone stops buying from the mint, maybe we could get silver proof sets for $6500 or better yet at $5900 The 2022 baseball privy mark, gold buffalo, silver proof set, proof set, gold 1 oz uncirculated are all still available on the mint website Alot of coins not being sold

I only buy special Eagle proof sets like Anniversary proof sets, reverse proof sets To high mintages for my taste For me anything over 1,000 mintages becomes to high and to many on the market for sale Yes the price is higher but worth every penny as not that many people can own them and normally appreciate higher in value overtime do to rarityI love proof coins because they aren’t connected to Silver spot prices and if silver prices goes down my proof coins didn’t😃
