I had a lot of old coins about a few years ago We had a house fire and someone went it while i was in the hospital and took all my old 1/2 cents, my 1909 vdb coins and oodles of 1940 to 1912 coins I could have bern rich Even had indian arrow heads and buffalo coins worth a small fortune 😢 But im collecting still Yeah !!!!😊

I do quarter roll hunting for Ws and silver I put the hobby on hold during our move from FL to TX and living in a small RV for 6 months When I restarted my hobby a few months ago, I came home with rolls and rolls of brand new 2023 quarters I did find 6 W quarters in the past week but I was discouraged when I recently read that The Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020 authorized the United States Mint to produce new designs from 2022 through 2030, 10 more American Women quarters, Semiquincentennial Program (2026), and American Youth Sports Program (2027–2030) so there are a lot more brand new, shiny quarter rolls coming and hunting for Ws will get even more difficult

I bought some nickles at the bank for change for the business I managed I got a roll of 1943S nickles All 40 coins were the same I went back to the bank to see if they had any more rolls that were of the same hand rolled lot

That will help my watchful eye as a cashier to make sure I see these nickels I found another 1940 nickel but sadly was not able to get out of the register due to the customer lines If it’s still there the next day I’m definitely gonna switch it out I know it’s not silver but still a 1940 nickel is pretty old

Actually did find a Silver 1945 S Nickel just about a few days ago, love the timing I haven't really found much out there, but I counted four nickels and two dimes that I buy out of my register at work, I dont really go out of my way to collect boxes to roll the dice, even though I should give it a try
