I honestly don’t agree with the causes of the coins Christa McAuliffe was only one victim of the challenger disaster Just make a commemorative for the victims I don’t want it if she is the only one being commemorated Remember summer 2020? If a busy coin is done right, it can really look good For instance, I recently purchased a French 2020 commemorative 2 euro coin commemorating medical research The obverse is busy with a female scientist studying several DNA strands Overlaying this design are spherical lines representing the global nature of this research If a coin design is largely allegorical, a busy design can work and be exceptionally beautiful I feel that the mint has lost the idea of allegorical messages on our coins These new commemorative coins though busy, try to be very straightforward with messaging Rather, I have always liked the platinum coins that are largely allegorical That said, I do plan on purchasing the Christa McAuliffe coin because I like anything space-related Comment from : @garyherrmann2846 |

The mint has been pumping out e-mails about these but I’m not really interested in any of these designs I’d sooner have their website squared away so the average Joe has a chance at getting some of these Eagle releases without all the bots and big dealers scooping them up to sell at ridiculous prices I’m afraid the Morgan and Peace dollar releases are gonna be a circus Good luck trying to get those Comment from : @MbgFire2067 |

I might get the Christa coin The LEO coins come off too politically correct for me, so I'll passbrEdit: I just looked at the Christa offering and I'm going to pass on that too They're making 350,000 of them That's way too many for a commemorative edition The coin will never have a numismatic value that will exceed the offering price The price of silver would need to skyrocket for the value of the coin to ever exceed the current offer price Comment from : @JohnD357 |
