It was the 2015 Liberty gold coin that started the series not 2017 as I thought That coin was graded in MS and wasn't proof Your video inspired me to purchase the 2023 $100 Liberty gold coin I can't tell any imperfections because it looks perfect to me compared to older coins which always have some wear It was the 2015 liberty gold coin I returned because it had polish marks on it

Dang, I am so thinking about getting this I got two of the silver version, but the gold is just GORGOUS I don't t; think you can take those out of the capsules without breaking it open They're designed to stay in there, I think; I'm brand new at this

The Mint still has the 2017 Liberty $100 gold coin in stock The mintage on those was 100K max It also was not proof and had some stray marks on it so I returned it They didn't call it uncirculated so I have no idea what finish was used

I got mine and they have it back already, so disappointed It was a lot like yours A little higher, by the LIB in Liberty From the outside of the capsule it looked about like yours, you can tell something is up when the reeding is showing up I got the capsule opened without too much effort and tipped it out By this point i had pretty much determined i wasn't keeping it, anyways But yeah it was pretty edgy and finned At this point i decided to just get a refund Over this coin Not putting myself through this again Plus i can use the spare money for these other purchases this year Really broken over this, I've been saving a lot to get it

Beautifull coin I have a proof ike ( thank God its not worth much) that I took out of its holder because there was fuzz on it, so with cotton gloves on I blue the fuzz off and it didnt budge, so I gave it a light wipe with my finger and scratched the crap out of it never again , leave the fuzz

I've been on the fence because I try to avoid buying gold proof coins that the mint sells for a very high premium brbrI agree - those clam shells take up too much storage space but they are better than the junk the silver Liberty Medal comes with Does anyone think the gold coin will increase in value?brbrNot opening the capsule was a good move - too risky The capsules are close to impossible to open and as such the chance that something goes wrong is high

I PROMIS your Gold coin will have Finning!!! FACT It will also be off center Also this is NOT a PROOF in real life as near the ATES has pressing issues in the rim It's SO SAD that for the almost $3000 the US Mint makes this poor quality The Capsule is better made! You are kidding yourself, must remove coin to see Finning It's not that hard to get the top off, just take your time I have done 2 of them It's a great looking coin!
