 It's a coin fliplike you said overpaying on a modern that doesn't hold its value cause the value is artificially hyped through fear of missing out can be discouraging But I also feel people can be introduced to the hobby by the US Mints moderns at a larger rate

 Great topic I find the us mint useful to obtain a specific coin and or commemorative piece The newly released "pride of 2 nations" was a great success but I doubt it will gain any value later on through the years Just my 2 cents on the topic
