A lot of those are not real posts unfortunately You have to look into the seller and if there are multiple bids or not More often than not, beanie babies are not sold for much unless they are rare

Supposedly according to some research people are using eBay to somehow artificially inflate the values Most accounts that have these prices have a feedback of 1 and it’s almost always an accepted offer Some people think that they are actually using it to sell illegal items… drugs etc

Fake news Most of these “sales” are actually money laundering or fake accounts If you look further into it most sellers have no reviews and a lot of the bids will say they’re from unregistered accounts

The High sales you see are not real sales, not money laundering, not drug deals, they are simply a attempt at Market manipulation To prove the point, open some of "sales" You usually will see a seller with 0 feedback, look at when they joined Now look the other items they have for sale The big question is how these zero feedback sellers got around eBays listing limitations for new sellers? In their handbook every new seller starts out at limit of $500
