I use High Street bookies to bet on politics, mostly British general elections and party leadership contests Obviously I don't bet that often and am no expert, but I've found the easiest to deal with are William Hill and Betfred Ladbrokes (a thinly disguised anagram of Lads broke) are efficient but don't talk to the staff: if they think you know what you're talking about they may well find an excuse to refuse the bet Paddy are the worst, female staff are often the dimmest women alive They look at the betting slip with blank incomprehension as though its written in Chinese and ask the boss "Wayne, do we do politics bets?"

Apologise for stating the obvious, but there is no customer welfare The bookmakers have turned the concept of "safer gambling" to their advantage, using it to block - or at least limit - those who win, whilst leaving alone those who don't, totally irrespective of losses / excessive stakes etc Mind, why would a bookmaker today want to go head-to-head with a punter on a serious wager with the advent of sure-fire winners (casino / games / interest bets)?

I've traded financial markets for some years (never any issue with withdrawals btw) and thought I would have a look at match betting/arbing/dutching etc as a way to fill in the hours sitting in front of four screens between trade setups and create an additional income I've watched many of your excellent videos and the content is compelling, the activity appears to fit my personal profile really well However, the bookie industry looks wretched and I could see myself getting angry and frustrated, this video especially has all but put me off completely Feeling disappointed, ideas or comments welcome!

No Virgin Bet? Took them only 4 months to ban me last week, after I’d only won £2k!!brTook them a couple of days after that win to ban me without telling me & in which case left me unable to withdraw what little I had left in my account!brSo I contacted them, they responded by saying they could do a manual withdrawal for me & finished their email with saying ‘Thanks for being part of the team’, I couldn’t help but respond by asking what team I was part of seeing as they’d banned me after only 4 months? I’m still waiting to find out what team I’m part of?!?brbrOn the plus side, it does mean my tv deal with their sister company will be going as soon as my contract is done, if my money isn’t good enough for one of their businesses, I won’t be giving it to them for another of their businesses!

MY Ladbrokes experience is I backed 3 horses the 3 horses shortened up not large stakes either I went to back a fourth and they restricted me to pennies the 3 horses lost but I still got the piss off email So short sighted from them as they could have received a lot of business in the meantime A shit company overall but I will give Coral a go just to see the difference

The worst for me was Sky Bet i had only been using them for a month and had made no money when i woke up to being restricted to 25p stakes, subsequently after that i told myself Sky would never ever recieve a penny off me for anything including subs for tv etc4 years later and they haven't so their absurd restrictions has cost them in the long run
