I love your videos so much, I am somewhat vacuum obsessed (here's your sign, im watching a video about vacuums) but for real, I have been watching your videos for a long time and they always help me to make an educated decision on which vacuum to buy next I have 5 kids and a lot of pets so we sometimes have to get a new vacuum every year, two if we're REALLY lucky

What is the serviceability? In this day and age, that is an important category Difficult to justify spending top $$$ just to find out that parts are not serviceable as DIY (eg roller heads, etc) or very expensive

@PumpUpTheJam81 After a few weeks of use, Sebo not including a wand extension makes sense The edge pickup for baseboards and moldings is amazing After I removed the front brush on the parquet tool, it preforms second to none I adore the Felix and would kiss the engineers that designed it! it's videos like this that mislead people into buying these terrible, overpriced, unreliable, low performance vacuums that fail after barely 2 years of use, these are not good vacuums, these are cheaply made, poorly designed, chinese made, primitive, generic vacuums that NO ONE should buy, especially at the insane prices that shark charges for these landfill vacuums, a power hungry motor and flashy features do not mean a vacuum is good

As other people have said, I would love to have a rating for how easy it fix and for expense of replacing parts And for the quality of parts For example the power cord on the Stratos Heaven for bid, you run over it with the vacuum or it gets caught on an edge The cord does not stand up to any damage I have three Stratos, and all of the cords have tears in them Older vacuum cords use to last much longer brbrI would also love to see a rating for how easy it to clean the vacuum I clean vacation rentals, so our vacuums are put through the ringer One huge issue I have with the Stratos, is it is impossible to clean The older Sharks, had better removable covers to get to the rollers and clean things out The Stratos, only allows you access to one of the rollers And if you need to take the vacuum apart for whatever reason, the screws are not your typical screws They are a star shape screw but they also have a rod sticking up, so you can't use a normal star bit

i've been using Dyson Ball for years I have to switch to Shark because all Dyson vacuum, whether it's cordless or corded, upright or canister, have very low front brush It just pushes the debris I have to lift up the vacuum put it right on top of the debris

I bought it because of your review and was really impressed with the suction and carpet pickup (coming from a Dyson I was missing out!), but I ultimately returned it due to poor usability for above the floor cleaning: the hose is too short and the only way to use it is to carry the canister in the other hand, so I have no more hands to move objects or smooth fabric wrinkles on my couch; and the small turbo brush is completely useless and just stops once the fins touch any surface There were other quirks too, like the annoying touch buttons for suction adjustment - no issue in upright mode, but they're right under the palm in hose mode and I keep inadvertently changing suctionbrbrI know you said you liked Sebo Felix some time ago - how does it stack up?

This is a great vacuum I got two stick vacuums (Dyson Gen 5 / Shark Detect Duo) plus this one for my large house I use the stick vacuums for quick cleans in my office and kitchen and around pet areas I have 4 cats and a dog that are constantly shedding and need a DEEP clean of carpets often This does a much better job than the stick vacuums and my robot vacuum

The pulling effect doesn't go away for me even with all the weight, I had to return it because it actually felt like it was trying to rip my arm off - With my disability I genuinely cannot use this without pain! Definitely did deep clean my carpet thoughbrbrEDIT: Just tested it on hardwood and its just fine It hates my carpet specifically I guess!

So far my favorite has been the Shark cordless stratos which you highly recommended and not once has it become clogged with two long haired dogs: Husky mix and a mini Aussie which both leave tons of hair and have killed my dyson and previous stick vacs You were also spot on with the damn Ryobi stick vac which I found out the hard way as it couldn’t handle the dogs hair and it’s power just didn’t help itself to be a useful vac

Sharks the best for upright bag less vacuums, and they came out with an impressive carpet cleaner I just used the CarpetXpert machine and it was very nice, easy to clean CONS: cable is too short, the dirty tank doesn’t hold that much, it is incredibly heavy with the water tank… but once i started to use it, wow my house smells so nice lol!!brbrI haven’t tried the Deep clean hose attachments… just spent the day cleaning my rugs for the house brbrThe best vacuum mop (in my opinion) is the Narwal S10 pro (S20 just came out, it is smarter with stronger suction but I’m good for now since I use the Narwal for maintenance as opposed to deep cleaning)

Next time you test out carpet cleaners I think a good test to add if you could find a way would be removing cigarette tar/odor I know that some people try to clean out cigarette smells or stains when selling a car or a home so I think this could be a very practical application

My 2013 shark corded has been the best vacuum Ive ever owned Was blown away that it’s almost impossible to get replacement parts now that things are wearing out, and you have to rely on knock off amazon replacement filters Received a shark cordless stick vacuum as a wedding gift, same thing… almost zero parts, a horrible website and support Ready for something better and more robust

I have a Shark Stratos and it's downfall is the rubber brush head I have burned through 2 in a year The rubber on the roller always breaks down The last two have had chunks missing and rips in it Only thing I use it for is carpet and hardwood floors
