Too much crap to take a crap Comment from : @CrpMag |
Great hover, however it is useless on a thicker pile rug or carpet! Doesn’t like it at all! Comment from : @maxineroberts868 |
I love your videos so much, I am somewhat vacuum obsessed (here's your sign, im watching a video about vacuums) but for real, I have been watching your videos for a long time and they always help me to make an educated decision on which vacuum to buy next I have 5 kids and a lot of pets so we sometimes have to get a new vacuum every year, two if we're REALLY lucky Comment from : @jamiepender6667 |
What is the serviceability? In this day and age, that is an important category Difficult to justify spending top $$$ just to find out that parts are not serviceable as DIY (eg roller heads, etc) or very expensive Comment from : @f518-tute |
I’d like to argue that a Kirby has more features than any shark… I reckon that’d be unfair though, as a Kirby and a Shark are two very different machines Comment from : @SWMOWoodsman |
This is a US product Purchase a Dyson instead It costs a bit more but is not a US company Comment from : @alexanderalexander7404 |
Absolute garbage!!! Do some research to learn that everybody hates this vacuum I breaks often and is not repairable Thumbs down Comment from : @paulprocsal1800 |
What’s the difference between the AZ4002 and these two models listed on Shark’s website AZ405UPG1 / AZ405KT1? Comment from : @RyleeHall-qj3lf |
Just used mine for the first time, ill say this, what dust? Comment from : @manafront |
Shark is shittes problem vacuum ever Comment from : @loganfrazee878 |
old lift away vacs were always powered even when in lift away mode whats the point of "powered" lift away ???? seems like a money grab feature Comment from : @TanyaAD138 |
44872 🥴 Comment from : @OCA8WhitePeopleAreAlbinosOCA8 |
@PumpUpTheJam81 After a few weeks of use, Sebo not including a wand extension makes sense The edge pickup for baseboards and moldings is amazing After I removed the front brush on the parquet tool, it preforms second to none I adore the Felix and would kiss the engineers that designed it! Gut gemacht, herzlichen Glückwunsch Comment from : @jamesandrasek |
Still only using just one cyclone! (Eyeroll) poor design Comment from : @mikemiller5839 |
What is the AW value ? Comment from : @davleo77777 |
it's videos like this that mislead people into buying these terrible, overpriced, unreliable, low performance vacuums that fail after barely 2 years of use, these are not good vacuums, these are cheaply made, poorly designed, chinese made, primitive, generic vacuums that NO ONE should buy, especially at the insane prices that shark charges for these landfill vacuums, a power hungry motor and flashy features do not mean a vacuum is good Comment from : @bigupbassline58 |
I hope this review was just a joke Comment from : @johnmitchell8925 |
I just don’t understand why it’s SO huge brAbsolutely dwarfs my oreck Comment from : @hunterm4188 |
have you done a review of the corded stick version? Comment from : @abelp1990 |
I thought this was going to be my next vacuum I’ve used Shark vacuum’s exclusively for the last 8ish years They’ve lasted well, but when my NV801 finally bit the dust, yes lol, after 5 years, it was time for a move upbrbrThe Riccar Tandem Air Premium was a strong contender I couldn’t abide the weakness of a vulnerable impeller and the weak suction from the hose thoughbrbrI ultimately landed on the Sebo Felix after research and a good test drive With what I’ve seen on your channel, I’m excited to get it unboxed!brbrThanks for sharing your experience! Comment from : @jamesandrasek |
You need to start a reliability score! Because sharks are good Till they are not, and you're left with a non-repairable pile of trash Comment from : @8Shawn4 |
As other people have said, I would love to have a rating for how easy it fix and for expense of replacing parts And for the quality of parts For example the power cord on the Stratos Heaven for bid, you run over it with the vacuum or it gets caught on an edge The cord does not stand up to any damage I have three Stratos, and all of the cords have tears in them Older vacuum cords use to last much longer brbrI would also love to see a rating for how easy it to clean the vacuum I clean vacation rentals, so our vacuums are put through the ringer One huge issue I have with the Stratos, is it is impossible to clean The older Sharks, had better removable covers to get to the rollers and clean things out The Stratos, only allows you access to one of the rollers And if you need to take the vacuum apart for whatever reason, the screws are not your typical screws They are a star shape screw but they also have a rod sticking up, so you can't use a normal star bit Comment from : @SB-cj9sz |
Honestly I’d rather have all power all the time I don’t like these sensing vacuums at all And it’s just more to go wrong The stratos and vertex still seem like better vacuums imo Comment from : @ajgreen868 |
Can it be used to clean food spills on floor? Comment from : @thoughtfulsd |
Seems like a waste of money for gimmicks, if your concern is the best clean I would venture the stratos is still #1 Comment from : @speedracer9132 |
Nothing beats the Norden Vacuum Comment from : @mistervacation23 |
i've been using Dyson Ball for years I have to switch to Shark because all Dyson vacuum, whether it's cordless or corded, upright or canister, have very low front brush It just pushes the debris I have to lift up the vacuum put it right on top of the debris Comment from : @benc2798 |
I bought it because of your review and was really impressed with the suction and carpet pickup (coming from a Dyson I was missing out!), but I ultimately returned it due to poor usability for above the floor cleaning: the hose is too short and the only way to use it is to carry the canister in the other hand, so I have no more hands to move objects or smooth fabric wrinkles on my couch; and the small turbo brush is completely useless and just stops once the fins touch any surface There were other quirks too, like the annoying touch buttons for suction adjustment - no issue in upright mode, but they're right under the palm in hose mode and I keep inadvertently changing suctionbrbrI know you said you liked Sebo Felix some time ago - how does it stack up? Comment from : @sergn717 |
Is the handle able to be plugged directly into the floor nozzle without the wand? Comment from : @ryandelvecchio8742 |
Hose info? Wands for curtain? Comment from : @chrissygidula336 |
We have the Shark Vertex Got it in 2020 (or 2021?) and really like it I hope it holds up as I heard many say they are not very serviceable Comment from : @kennygee2715 |
how accurate is the fog test? Comment from : @Layarion |
Everything this video says is correct I am amazed at how good this vacuum is Our old Shark died, and we got this one and used it and it picked up so much dirt that we were amazed The old vacuum was not working and we did not know it Get this on sale and it is worth it Comment from : @rogeroforlando8503 |
This is a great vacuum I got two stick vacuums (Dyson Gen 5 / Shark Detect Duo) plus this one for my large house I use the stick vacuums for quick cleans in my office and kitchen and around pet areas I have 4 cats and a dog that are constantly shedding and need a DEEP clean of carpets often This does a much better job than the stick vacuums and my robot vacuum Comment from : @bkraft |
I ordered the Shark POWERDETECT Upright Vacuum today from the Shark website It is a Black Friday deal They have three different bundle deals I chose the $39900 with a 100-dollar off promo (Power100) I'm crossing my fingers I really don't like heavy Vacuums, but we have shaggy carpets on the entire second floor, and nothing is powerful enough to get deep down in them I hope this works Comment from : @MsA_FunkySoapBox |
The pulling effect doesn't go away for me even with all the weight, I had to return it because it actually felt like it was trying to rip my arm off - With my disability I genuinely cannot use this without pain! Definitely did deep clean my carpet thoughbrbrEDIT: Just tested it on hardwood and its just fine It hates my carpet specifically I guess! Comment from : @Pixiel |
A video of this one vs the Stratos verison would be greatly appreciated 😅🙏🏻 Comment from : @heleac |
Seriously thank you for always giving us an honest scoop on the most current vacuums Seems silly but I thoroughly enjoy watching vacs battle it out and I’ve used your recommendations when picking out my sticks vacs and haven’t been disappointed once! So far my favorite has been the Shark cordless stratos which you highly recommended and not once has it become clogged with two long haired dogs: Husky mix and a mini Aussie which both leave tons of hair and have killed my dyson and previous stick vacs You were also spot on with the damn Ryobi stick vac which I found out the hard way as it couldn’t handle the dogs hair and it’s power just didn’t help itself to be a useful vac Comment from : @jewdd1989 |
To be honest I got a newer shark from Costco and vacuumed after with my older UV650 and there was still a little bit of shit left behind Older > newer? Placebo? The swivel mechanism is also significantly stiffed too Comment from : @lukas______ |
Can’t wait to see the cordless version reviewed!! Comment from : @L1ttlef0ot |
The Power Detect is $299 on shark's website right now Comment from : @craigjoe8691 |
Does this vacuum have motorized wheels to help move it forward? Looking for a vacuum for my mom who has a hard time without that feature Comment from : @kultyper |
bro is rich 💀 Comment from : @sarahaugust1768 |
I am not finding this in the EU, apparently the max wattage for a vacuum cleaner here is 900W for eco-friendly reasons, sad I couldn't import one either because of the voltage mismatch brbrI love vacuum cleaners and hate batteries, I love this one Comment from : @abdulkaderajlani5096 |
I love your channel We have purchased 3 of the top sharks over the years We have had a struggle with it getting clogged with dog hair very easily We have a German shepherd and short hair dog brbrI would love to see a more recent video for pet owners! Comment from : @sarabell7290 |
Thankyou for your review Wish these reviews would rate and review shag rug cleaning performance We have carpet, wood, and shag Comment from : @neeramiller2661 |
Power Detect or Stratos? Why Comment from : @MeezyPeezy |
Well I have had 2 brand New sent to my house and I can’t get through One Room in my house without it Stop Running it Blowing Fuses And I have always had a Shark I can’t believe that this is the second one and it had done the same thing brSo I’m hoping that they can get it Right Comment from : @StephanieJones-f3i |
Sharks the best for upright bag less vacuums, and they came out with an impressive carpet cleaner I just used the CarpetXpert machine and it was very nice, easy to clean CONS: cable is too short, the dirty tank doesn’t hold that much, it is incredibly heavy with the water tank… but once i started to use it, wow my house smells so nice lol!!brbrI haven’t tried the Deep clean hose attachments… just spent the day cleaning my rugs for the house brbrThe best vacuum mop (in my opinion) is the Narwal S10 pro (S20 just came out, it is smarter with stronger suction but I’m good for now since I use the Narwal for maintenance as opposed to deep cleaning) Comment from : @chopaface |
Next time you test out carpet cleaners I think a good test to add if you could find a way would be removing cigarette tar/odor I know that some people try to clean out cigarette smells or stains when selling a car or a home so I think this could be a very practical application Comment from : @remikeableLol |
How does it do on really high pile rugs? Comment from : @lancemiller6204 |
I heard this Vaccume really sucks 🤣😂 This is my next purchase for sure replacing a Dyson Comment from : @101stCorps |
You should do a versus powerdetect vs Stratos Comment from : @managerruss3006 |
I’m shopping for a new vacuum I had the Eureka pet for the last 20 years, and unfortunately it went, absolutely love that vacuum I bought A Bissell vacuum, absolutely hate it ,worst vacuum I’ve ever owned in my life! now again , I’m on the hunt for a new vacuum, and it looks like they don’t make vacuums like they used to!! BUMMER!! Shopping for a vacuum is pretty painful Comment from : @kathyloizos3411 |
i'm still leaning toward Stratos? Anyone here own that one? Comment from : @dsha2006 |
@vacuumwars have you ever tested one of the old Kirby's against a modern vacuum cleaner? Comment from : @IDIoilburner |
Suction adjustment based on floor and dirt is both good but it makes bo sense to combine them in one vacuum Comment from : @RTZ205 |
He must love saying the same things over and over again Comment from : @RTZ205 |
You need to compare this with a vax mach air to see which one is better Comment from : @snaker3365 |
As the owner of a shark vacuum with a powered lift-away canister, build quality should be considered People seem to be fine with this cheap plastic that our vacuums are made out of Plus the absurd thinking of Shark to sell a 17 lbs vacuum that can be carried around but has no shoulder strap attachment They can come up with all of these gimmicks, but a shoulder strap is beyond them Pathetic Comment from : @matraz10 |
Are you going to review the PowerDetect Cordless vacuum? Comment from : @dm4birdtricks |
Shark vacuum ia the leader of the vacuum Comment from : @Laosonthefamousyoutuber |
Shark is not reliable, who are you kidding? Comment from : @claudacious9947 |
I can say as a pet owner of long hair dogs that I love Shark vacuums BUT these dual rollers SUCK That felt roller is the worst for pets in everyday use so these reviews are misleading in that dept Comment from : @karenlyons2381 |
It's not available in Australia😮💨 Comment from : @dromadez |
My 2013 shark corded has been the best vacuum Ive ever owned Was blown away that it’s almost impossible to get replacement parts now that things are wearing out, and you have to rely on knock off amazon replacement filters Received a shark cordless stick vacuum as a wedding gift, same thing… almost zero parts, a horrible website and support Ready for something better and more robust Comment from : @UHSftball54 |
can you do a oreck orbiter vs other carpet cleaning machines of the same kind or even vs uprights? Comment from : @realEvanBriggs |
Too bad it's so heavy 👎👎👎 Comment from : @Deedee1987dee |

What about cleaning/servicing the vacuum? Comment from : @yf5218 |
My Hoover Windtunnel that I’ve had for years has 2 settings, on and off And instead of a bin I have to empty every single time I use the thing I have a bag I change like every 3 or so months brbrSlamming more features into a vacuum doesn’t make it better It just makes it more likely to poop itself in a year Comment from : @fracturedmind8124 |
downsized to small home in the country, with high ceilings and constant spider webs , and sand /dirt fills window sills weekly, all hard tile floors Please advise bcz I'm overwhelmed by choices Comment from : @bybeauxbarron |

As an owner of a small cleaning company, I instantly subscribed and am in love with this channel!brbrI own the PowerDetect, and the carpet Xpert with stain striker, and they both have made me a lot of money 💰 and I am obsessed with them bothbrbrI’ll be glued to your channel, thanks for the content! Comment from : @kylewelleman |
You guys need to remember he has been in shark vacuum ads I have had newer sharks and always find myself going back to Dyson for the reliability brbrThat’s at least what I think 🙄 Comment from : @mikerobbins1247 |
Make backpack vacuum cordless video Comment from : @joshuaginestresantiago83 |
$500 for this, or a Sebo for $50 more…… The choice is obvious Comment from : @brody2642 |

Would you recommend this over Dyson cordless V15 detect? Comment from : @azure5216 |
I have a Shark Stratos and it's downfall is the rubber brush head I have burned through 2 in a year The rubber on the roller always breaks down The last two have had chunks missing and rips in it Only thing I use it for is carpet and hardwood floors Comment from : @jokerz4fun |
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it matters how much money you spend on a shark vacuum because they tend to be throwaway junk All those weird censored gimmicks remind me of a time when Kenmore put that kind of stuff on there flagship Progressive intelliclean From the early 2000s Unlike any of the shark models You can still find tons of them for sale no pre-owned off of Facebook marketplace, craigslist, And ebay Comment from : @kippaseo8027 |
But it’s a shark tho 🤢🤮 Comment from : @goodgremlinmedia2757 |
At $500 it better be the best! Comment from : @Resist4 |
