I've never seen most of this currency in circulation It seems like Canada is really quick to update their bills I'm only 17 and the bills that were new when I was younger (the 5's with the guys playing hockey on the back) have been completely purged from what I see You'll never see paper money, at least here in western Canada Hell even the 10 dollar bills i mostly see nowadays are the vertical ones and those are brand spanking new Comment from : @benton7009

We dont see any $1 or $2 notes in circulation since we started a loonie $1 coin in 86 and the twoonie $2 coin in 1996 And like others have said, all our notes are plastic now, so any paper money is rare to see But everyone and their dog saved the 1970 $1 notes and 1986 $2, so they aren't rare And we no longer have pennies Comment from : @coinoperated1
