I have tried this schedule in a few differnt ways (from other creators) and I get the same results The interest and principle do not calculate the same as what the financial institution has The interest amount on my very first payment calculates at almost $100 less on the spreadsheet than what the financial institution shows and the the principal amount calculates higher than the finance company shows I am so frustrated with this, I am hoping you can help I also had to jack up the interest rate in the spreadsheet from 1053 to 1071 in order for the monthly payment to calculate correctly WHAT IS HAPPENING? Either I am doing something wrong or the fnance company is screwing me over

How to handle a partial month payment at the start of the loan Say the bank wants to have your payment date at the end of the month Say the 28th, but it is the 15th of the month when you start the loan Also, there bank wants to give you say a minimum of 28 days before your first payment So, using the dates I layed out, there would be 43 days of interest, not 30 in that first payment How can we account for this ???
