I got this new & improved VZ router and have had noting but internet drops since the day it was installed and I paid close to $450 for this I worked there so I know how screwed up they are as far as csr service

Well I got a Verizon Tower 1/2 mile from my house here rurally I mean it's good for basic streaming or wifi use with the phone, laptops, Alexa, or Roku Got Spectrum for the house for gaming and work

Do You have a latest review of Verizon 5G home Internet I just picked up and testing to see if it's a keeper and quit AT&T DSL The speed of the 5G is twice as fast on Speedtest at the moment no buffering on Prime or AppleTV Like the idea, BUT will go nuts if watching a show and it cuts outANGER! Thx for feedback if I get any!

I just got Verizon 5G yesterday Unfortunately, I'll be taking it back My issue is that the gateway and my VPN did not work well with each other With the VPN on I was only getting about 40 Mbps down using a wired connection Changing the VPN server didn't help Turning the VPN off got me 90-110 Mbps I contacted customer support and they suggested moving the gateway But I don't think location would address a 60 loss of speed with a VPNbrbrHe also sent me a link to a generic customer support FAQ A search turned up a possible solution When I clicked on the link I got a page that said the web page didn't exist and "Did that solve your problem?" I just had to laughbrbrIf the service is available in your area I DO suggest trying it out Just because it didn't work well for me doesn't mean it won't for you

I used my old router and used the 5g router as a modem for a seamless transition Only other thing you may need to do is enable port forwarding on the 5g admin portal and open it up for your old router (i did full range) to get stuff like PS remote play away from home working againbrbrObviously turned off the wifi on the 5g router too

I just started using it today and have seen download speeds of 130 to 300 Mbps and upload speed around 20 Mbps I am very pleased and plan on cancelling my Xfinity Internet if the performance continues to deliver Xfinity keeps jacking the price up beyond reason

I was lucky i got a 10 yr price garuntee at 25 per month I get 150 to 300 download and 5 to 20 up 30 to 50 ping Adding a 5g signal booster 30 feet in air pointed to tower thats 1 mile away that should get me closer to a 300 constant down, higher upload and lower ping as router does receive signal through walls and buidings

I just got this like three or four days ago because I was paying $150 month for just internet I got tired of paying that so I switched I was very skeptical at first if it was strong enough to support all our devices that we use mainly for steaming to watch tv There are four tvs in my home plus tablets So far this has been great with no issues I pay $80 per month for this which is way better than $150 ❤️

Thank you very much for this review and everyone that commented You all convinced me and picked one up today and am very satisfied I went from an atrocious 3mb with frontier to over 200mb with Verizon For those wondering why only 3mb We just moved to a 3 bedroom mobile home Everything is great about the home and the area but this is the gotcha part Frontier made a deal with the management to be the sole provider for this mobile home park They haven't updated to fiber in this area yet, so they're running on ancient dsl phone lines and are charging residents 50 bucks for 3mb And no, it can't be upgraded Yet I was like hell to the nah We're gonna figure something out and came across this video Thank you again!

Have had this since the first of the year Went in to get a new Iphone for the wife and I and casually asked if this service was ever coming to our little town Turned out it was and we got it Absolutly zero issues with this service Faster speed than our $100+ a month Spectrum cable Check often, it may be available soon I have it wifi to our two desk computers and two smart tvs One of which is downstairs in my man cave No extender needed The cell service is so good we dont have to hook our phones up to the wifi like we did when we had T Mobile service

I have maximum bars but only get about 200/20 on Home Internet Plus here in Chicago I guess you need mmWave in your location for higher speeds, not midband which also shows as 5GUW on your phone I guess Verizon 5G Home Internet Plus is okay at $35 a month, RCN/Astound is unreliable (outages all the time) where I live, xFinity has 12TB / month data cap and our condo doesn't have enough units to get fiber

I just received mine Technically, the service in my location isn't available, but it still works 200-300mbps download and 20-30mbps upload brI also have full residential service Starlink at $110 per month, and the speeds are atrocious, currently down under 10mbps down and up I'm canceling Starlink It is absolutely garbage, and it will get worse when more people get accepted to it

The problem I found is that the offering doesn't tell you if your area (I am in Seattle) you can get 85-300Mps vs 300-1000Mps They require two different modems offered depending on getting Home or Home Plus My area only gets 85-300Mps (in Seattle fyi) So, while I get the range thing I really wanted the upper service which I am paying for
