I think that multiple intelligences is pseudo-science Intelligence is a single, general ability, not multiple abilities The talents that Gardner writes about can be thought of 'as skills, or even personality traits,' as Stuart Ritchie said 'but calling them intelligence makes a mockery of the definition of the word' There is a positive manifold in which all mental tests have a strong positive correlation with each other, that would not be the case if intelligence were specific abilities, it proves that intelligence is a single and general ability Comment from : @paulbustion1291 |
