I actually just picked one of these up also with its sister/Brother coin the 1915 re strike Austrian 4 ducat which is almost a half oz of gold

The MTT were minted in several cities such as London, Birmingham, Bombay, Prague to name a few I think that they were minted in something like 10-12 different cities

The die errors on the Thalers from Belgium and London, reminds me of those fake soccer jersey shops in Asia : a lot of times colors of the teams aren't correct, or names on the back of the shirt are spelled wrong 😂

I never heard the WW II history regarding the Thaler before brI knew that they've been producing them with the same date since Maria Teresa's death and in some parts of North Africa still use them until this day brAt least that's what I've heard?brVery informative, thanks 👌
