Dear David! The video is really great! I recently received a 1010 to try out In the video, you mentioned that the IP address assigned under the older version was 19216811 From this I conclude that this is what I am running too I would like to update the system Are you planning a video about this, or is there a description available? Thank you in advance for your answer Comment from : @zoltanszabo3952 |

These firewalls are so complicated compared to other firewalls PFSense, Untangle, Watchguard, etc is so much simpler Cisco makes it overly complex for no reason whatsoever Who would deal with this when there are so many better options out there What a mess Comment from : @smccarthy945 |
Nice one !!!br🤓 Comment from : @mashLabful |

Hello David, brAwesome video, I'm enjoying your videos, I would like to see a video if it is possible with the Cisco Firepower behavior when detecting an insider threat or an exploit or a network scan brThank you !! Keep up the good work !! Comment from : @nikoskoronis4598 |
As soon as anything requires a “cloud” to function, I reject it brYou don’t buy this firewall, you rent it and Cisco in this case can render this firewall useless when they decide it is obsolete brNot good, reject cloud anything Comment from : @johanea |
Good Job bro Comment from : @newhomehome-vv7mf |

So basically you will hooked to Cisco forever for the equipment to work properly, and this after probably you paid an arm a leg for the hardware itself, Cisco business model is obsolete and companies like Ubiquiti and alike ( AltaLabs ), OpenSource Firewalls etc will continue to grow at theirs expense Thanks for the video anyway Comment from : @pbrigham |
Really nice demonstration, very well said and shown Keep up the amazing content🙂 Comment from : @jimbob36047 |

Hello David, brbrThis firewall is not recommended for the reasons below, correct me if I am wrong:brbrIn FDM you can't configure SNMP using the Management interface as a source brbrThe SNMP configuration is not simple, you should use APIbrbrIn both FDM and FMC you can't use the CLI to add a configuration which is very hard to add a new setup if it has a lot of change, (this is the olny FW with no CLI as a I know)brbrThere is no rollback option besides the no CLI which makes life harder brbrYou can't create a local user to access the GUI, you should use AAA serverbrbrTaking a lot of time in the deployed depends on the changes, brbrThis is in brief, I recommend using Fortigate or Juniper SRX much better than FTDbrbrBest Regards Comment from : @Sudqi55 |
How many users support brPlease sir! Comment from : @obaid-wiss275 |
David, very interesting but I'm sure Cisco could have provided you with a more advanced firewall, this one looks like a slimmed down ubuquiti router with a pf backend Comment from : @Mat-lear-92 |
