These firewalls are so complicated compared to other firewalls PFSense, Untangle, Watchguard, etc is so much simpler Cisco makes it overly complex for no reason whatsoever Who would deal with this when there are so many better options out there What a mess

Hello David,brbrThis firewall is not recommended for the reasons below, correct me if I am wrong:brbrIn FDM you can't configure SNMP using the Management interface as a source brbrThe SNMP configuration is not simple, you should use APIbrbrIn both FDM and FMC you can't use the CLI to add a configuration which is very hard to add a new setup if it has a lot of change, (this is the olny FW with no CLI as a I know)brbrThere is no rollback option besides the no CLI which makes life harder brbrYou can't create a local user to access the GUI, you should use AAA serverbrbrTaking a lot of time in the deployed depends on the changes,brbrThis is in brief, I recommend using Fortigate or Juniper SRX much better than FTDbrbrBest Regards
