He keeps talking about the S&P 500 compounding but how exactly is it a compound investment? If you take away dividends it just follows the graph like any other ETF or individual stock isnt it ? Comment from : @olympusmons6043 |

Hi Ramit, I've been following your advice for a few years and I am glad you exist :D I have a question that came to mind watching this video How do you convert your growth portfolio into an "income" portfolio? I invest monthyl into a broad ETF that is accumulating and does not give dividends This is good for me because it will reinvest the gains and my money will grow nice and steady But how do I move (in 25 years) this money from this etf to a different etf that gives dividends, without having to sell my positions (pay taxes on it) and rebuy into a dividend etf? I hope my question is clear Thanks! Comment from : @stefanopalermo9591 |

I have a question for you Rami, so I am 52 and I have a condo that I’m going to sell and I should have around 200K after all fees and taxes I was thinking about putting it into an index mutual fund for the next 25 years, I was going to add $1000 to that monthly My question for you is, I was looking into getting in with Merrill Lynch, but the fees I keep hearing that are really high So, I was looking into things like Fidelity 2050 type index funds If I’m reading the gains correctly, they’re doing really well throughout the 10 year period Can you give me any insight if I should do the higher fees and have someone run my fund for me? or trust that I can just stick it in a 2050 index fund with Fidelity and let it ride What is your take on this? The Australian stock market doesn’t return that much Investing in Overseas markets would be better but the problem is, we actually have to pay a complicated tax both here in Australia and Overseas which doesn’t make it worthwhile I wish somebody would talk about this but a lot of Australian investors don’t mention anything about it Comment from : @meowmeow1stgen668 |

This is assuming a retirement age of 65? What is the calculation to retire at age 50? Comment from : @ocean8866sea |
Great video, Ramit! - Does the 4 rule/calculation account for inflation? In the example, those wanting to maintain a $77K per year lifestyle, will need to save $19M Will that $77K thirty years from now be worth the same as today? / If not, does that mean we should be aiming higher than $19M? Comment from : @mccarthy890 |
Excellent video brThanks Comment from : @cmurill |
The numbers used in 4 rule are not correct They are in today's dollars You must increase the final amounts to adjust for inflation It also makes them more scary That 4m becomes 8m in about 24 years with average 3 inflation Comment from : @gorgthesalty |
What's this guy's net worth? If he's got any real money no way he's in a target date fund, lol Comment from : @TheChinaPlay |

Hi Ramit, I'm ready to begin investing for my future, but I'm feeling paralyzed by fear Everyone seems to be saying the market is overvalued and a crash is imminent Should I wait for a correction before investing, or is there a way to invest smartly even if prices are inflated? I'd love to hear your perspective on navigating this kind of market uncertainty Comment from : @happygoblin101 |

Hey Ramit,brI'm starting to invest on January 1, 2025 I'm 19 years old, still living with my parents, and we plan to invest together We're thinking of using a single account for all of us to invest in, instead of separate accounts, so that compounding can be more effective in the long term However, my parents will retire in 20 years, while I obviously won’t be retiring for much longer Could you give me some advice on what to consider in this scenario, especially when choosing a target-date fund? Comment from : @daniverver |
