The lesson is great TPR, multiple modalities, etc The one thing that continues to happen , is not using academic language correctly Numbers do NOT get bigger and smaller That is an indication of size The correct vocabulary is to use greater and less That is an indication of value/quantity We do our students a disservice when we do not use the correct terminology Also using higher and lower I will write the numbers 5 very small and the number 2 rather large I ask my students which is the bigger number, hence size, not quantity Comment from : @lisamccutcheon4806 |
